BACKGROUND

Sit Down Jeweler started as a small family business in 1987 at shop No. 432, Russian (Toul Tompoung) Market, Phnom Penh, Cambodia. The best jewelry shop in town located away from other jewelry shops and just right in the midst of the displays of blue kitchenware.
Sit Down Jeweler sells gold & silver jewelry with different types of stones such as the highest quality Cambodian stones (Ruby & Sapphire) from Pailin, the Northwest of Cambodia, and many others ranging from precious to semi-precious stones. Sit Down Jeweler also designs and manufactures made-to-order, custom jewelry with various electic designs, Western, traditional Cambodian and any other designs customers can imagine.

Thanks to its uncompromising workmanship with international quality, fantastic designs and excellent services, the business has blossomed exponentially– first with clients from Russia and Singapore, then from all over the world, specially during the UN-run election in early 1990s.

The shop at the Russian market with nice wooden stools for customers to rest is a magnet for foreigners interested in high quality jewelry. Through word of mouth, customers gave the shop the unique name of Sit Down Jeweler which is now a very well-known jewelry shop among foreigners working/living in Cambodia. With such a demand for Sit Down Jeweler products and services, two more shops have opened, one at Sihanouk Boulervard, Phnom Penh in 2001 "Khmer Nokorwat" and another "Sit Down Jeweler" at Sisowat Quay (Street # 1), Riverside, Phnom Penh in 2003.
